Technical Advisors of Eleven Rivers are certified in FSMA Food Safety Training

On October 3 and 4, Eleven Rivers technical advisers attended the “International Produce Safety Summit” training event in the city of Culiacan, Sinaloa where they obtained the certificate that accredits them as a Qualified Individual in accordance with § 112.22 (c) of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) requiring at least one agricultural supervisor (farm) to complete food safety training at least equivalent to the standardized plan recognized by the FDA.

This training coordinated by Agro Food Safety Academy is certified by AFDO and the Produce Safety Alliance in compliance with the requirements demanded by the FDA.

In the second day of this training the Technical Team of Eleven Rivers gave the presentation: Eleven Rivers Program – Fulfillment with FSMA | PSR taught.

The main purpose of this presentation was to share with those attending the event how the Eleven Rivers Certification can help agricultural enterprises in complying with the new regulations that include the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), especially those established in the Produce Safety Rule (PSR).

Attendees were very interested in the content of the Eleven Rivers Scheme and asked several questions about how their companies could achieve this certification.

The event was attended by producers of fresh fruits and vegetables, auditors, agricultural technicians, distributors, buyers, government personnel, inspectors, suppliers and others interested in learning about food safety under the standard (FSMA).

Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the safety law based on Good Food Safety Practices.
