Eleven Rivers Growers Technical Staff gets trained in PrimusGFS Version 3.1

On Aug 14-17, 2019, in the city of Culiacán, Sinaloa, Eleven Rivers Growers technical staff was trained in version 3.1 of PrimusGFS Certification Scheme.

In this course, they had the opportunity to review and learn about the new regulations as well as changes, doubts and general questions of the scheme; this course-workshop was taught by Eng. Gladys García, a lead auditor.

This new version aims to meet the needs of users from a global scale, with flexible modules and a variety of attachments developed to ensure program strength, regulatory compliance, and marketing.

The summary of this update from version 3.0 to version 3.1 can be found in the 7 modules in which the scheme is divided, which are:

Module 1: Food Safety Management System (SAIA):

Module 2: Farm

Module 3: Greenhouse

Module 4: Harvest Crew

Module 5: GMP

Module 6: HACCP

Module 7: Preventive Controls

These changes for the upgrade to version 3.1 are aimed to:

  1. Include updates in the compliance requirements of industry practices, customers and stakeholders.
  2. Questions and expectations updated according to the need to clarify compliance requirements.
  3. Updates following the GFSI v7.2 Comparative Evaluation Requirements documents.

From July 17, 2019 to Jan 15, 2020, users may use version 3.1 or version 3.0

After January 16, 2020, only version 3.1 will be available for use.
