One of the most vulnerable groups being been beaten during the Covid-19 health contingency are children and teenagers with disabilities. Many families have reduced their income due to loss of employment or catching the disease.
Fundación Cárdenas in alliance with Fundación Ramón Vargas delivered food pantries to 48 families with children with disabilities in Villa Juárez, Navolato. These families have been detected and registered in a priority care registry by both institutions, in order to learn about the case and progress of each child. The pantries delivered contain food from a menu designed by a nutritionist, providing a healthy and sufficient diet that helps their growth. This is a project developed in cooperation with authorities such as the Mayor Mr. Bogar Diarte, the group of people with disabilities Tocando Sentimientos A.C., Psychologist Rigoberto Delgado and Jóvenes Voluntarios de Villa Juárez group.
