NSF de Mexico obtained the accreditation for the Eleven Rivers Scheme

NSF International was founded in 1944 to develop certification programs and public health standards under the mission to protect and improve human health worldwide through its consulting services, audit, certification and training in food safety, which operates in México through its subsidiary NSF Mexico, S de RL de C.V.

NSF Mexico participates in the Eleven Rivers program as an independent organization that is responsible of the conformity assessment of agricultural enterprises and provides training on the training program of human capital for companies adhering to the scheme Eleven Rivers.

To be a third-party certification for the Eleven Rivers certification scheme the independent certification organizations has to be entities accredited for this particular scheme under the Mexican rule ISO/IEC 17065 standard: 2012 (or equivalent) and to the Mexican Accreditation Entity (EMA) and certify other schemes recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).

To comply with the above, NSF Mexico has obtained on July 12, 2016 successfully its official accreditation as a product certification organization within the Eleven Rivers program so as to the Mexican Accreditation, A.C. (EMA).

For the Eleven Rivers certification program and for Sinaloa growers is very valuable to have the support of an organization like NSF because it is a guarantee that the product has been evaluated by one of most respected independent certification organizations in existence today. It is valued by consumers, manufacturers, retailers and regulatory agencies worldwide.
