The 2019 issue of this Grand Expo in the Agri-food sector from Sinaloa will be carried out in Culiacán, Sinaloa, on October 24-25.

Created in 2013 by agricultural businessmen of the region, “Sinaloa Encanta”, is the event that brings together all the leading players in the food chain, in order to learn, identify, and recognize the value of products being harvested in the generous lands of the state.

This is an event where innovative formulas have been used to promote, advertise, and foster the development of the productive force in the agricultural sector, gastronomy, and industry in the State of Sinaloa; as well as the commitment of businessmen to continue offering products to the world, with the highest quality and the best food safety standards.

Therefore, and for another year, Sinaloa reaffirms itself as the epicenter of food life in the country.

This year will be a very relevant issue. It all will start on October 24 with the conduction of the general ordinary meeting of the plenary session of the National Agriculture Council, the most important and representative organization to a domestic level. About 100 representatives of the most important companies in the agricultural sector will meet in Culiacan, and they will provide a relevant setting for this event.

Later that same day, an important business meeting called “ Networking Day” will be held, where various members of companies engaged in the agricultural sector will reunite, from growers, buyers, input suppliers, to supermarket chains, among others.

This will be the second time this event takes place, and in 2018, it left a large number of negotiations as a balance, some of which were achieved with buyers and/or suppliers coming from the US and Canada.

There will also be a visit of a field installed in the Rico Valle region surrounding the state capital, where visitors will be shown the progress made in Sinaloa agriculture in terms of technology, irrigation systems , planting, harvesting, and packaging, as well as the adoption of the best practices in all production areas of the commodities being grown.

On the next day, a large party is being held in full, showing the great variety of horticultural commodities from Sinaloa, an impressive gastronomic display and wine tasting from the best wine producers in Mexico, produced from the fertile lands in the Baja California Valleys.

And at the end, as a plus for attendees, we will be presenting international artists, which has been a great closing for “Sinaloa Encanta” since 2013. This year Edith Márquez and María José will be performing.

Without a doubt, “Sinaloa Encanta” is the sum of many efforts targeted at providing a greater projection to a state where every day work is intended to beat the future and lay the grounds for development.
