“Today, the consumer, faced with the globalization of markets, has a great concern for the safety of the food they eat, wants to know if the product is healthy, if it was handled taking care of the innocuity, wants to know if pesticides were used, Water that was irrigated was good, the living conditions of workers, the impact on the environment, even wants to know, before going through the cash register, where it was produced, by whom, and whether it is domestic or import. This is the world today, “said Heriberto Vlaminck, president of the Eleven Rivers Program.

“The Eleven Rivers Program started its technical operation in 2011 with 9 large horticultural companies, in the 2013-2014 season we closed with 28 agricultural adherents that represent 38% of the state vegetable production. The goal for 2014-2015 will be to arrive to 40 companies. Our goal in the medium term is to integrate most of the horticultural entrepreneurs of Sinaloa. ”

“Mexico Calidad Suprema is an organization that since its creation has been a major driver of Mexican producers worldwide, has collaborated with the Federal Government to integrate the largest number of certified companies to offer agri-food products with the Highest standards of quality and food safety at national and international level. ”

“As we can see, the objectives of both agencies are common and we will achieve better results by working together for the producers of Sinaloa.
