Eleven Rivers present at CONAFIH 2015

With the aim of updating the knowledge of field technicians and engineers as well as exchange point of views and experiences among participants, the Comité Estatal de Sanidad Vegetal del Estado de Sinaloa (CESAVESIN) in collaboration with the Secretaria de Agricultura, Ganadería y Pesca de Sinaloa and Capaciagro organized the II Congreso Nacional de Fitosanidad e Inocuidad en Hortalizas (CONAFIH) 2015.

Culiacan, Sinaloa hosted the event which was held on 19, 20 and 21 of August of this year. In this edition Eleven Rivers participated as a proud sponsor, relying on the project’s vision and always promoting constant training of human capital in the agricultural sector of Sinaloa, which in turn is reflected in the competitiveness of our products.

It was promoted for the first time an exhibition area with companies and institutions committed to the best practices of field, food security and sustainability.

The organizers issued an invitation to the Eleven Rivers team to join the interdisciplinary group of lecturers who were in charge of covering a very wide range of topics of interest to attendees.

The Director of Eleven Rivers, Raymundo Elizalde, addressed the issue of global market requirements and building a culture of safety in agricultural enterprises. During his presentation, he argued that farmers need, among other things, implement new strategies to remain competitive in the market, such as expanding the portfolio of products, enter new markets, take advantage of changing consumer trends, address the new requirements of the market and look for the differentiation of the offer.

Luz Maria Chombo, Social Responsibility Coordinator at Eleven Rivers, stated during his speech a general social responsibility introduction, the principles governing this concept, the main events concerning this issue in our country and the approach that the Eleven Rivers Regulatory Scheme at its version 2.2 has in terms of social responsibility. In his conclusion, she said that today social responsibility plays a competitive factor not only between businesses but between entire countries that seek to position and that in case of default the own brand of the company can be targeted and damaged exponentially .
