The grower company “Grupo Agricola Esmeralda” achieved the Eleven Rivers Certification

We are grateful to extend our recognition to “Grupo Agrícola Esmeralda, SPR de RL” after having obtained during April, the approval of conformity by the NSF third-party organization in the Certification Scheme of Eleven Rivers Growers v2.3.

This agricultural company has been operating since 1950, since then they export most of their production to US. Its facilities are located in the north of the State of Sinaloa, in the Carrizo Valley. They have modern facilities for agricultural production and packaging of its products; colors bell pepper, tomato, green tomato, potato, and corn.

With the purpose of obtaining the certification, grower companies are compromise to improve their performance in aspects such as food safety, process quality, traceability, and social and environmental responsibility. The same ones that are verified in a weekly basis to assure a continuous fulfillment once the company has obtained the certification in Eleven Rivers.

We are convinced that this is an achievement that is only get by hard work as a team; Grupo Agrícola Esmeralda demonstrated its commitment to improve its agricultural practices, taking the initiative to comply with the highest industry standards that are represented by Eleven Rivers.

We congratulate all those who made possible the implementation of the Certification Scheme to be successful; to its management team headed by Ing. Ramón Antonio López Espinoza; As well to their technical team conformed by Ernesto Pacheco Valdez, Sergio Wong Castro, Jesús Abelino Higuera Montiel, Mercedes Valenzuela García, Jesús Valdez Ochoa, Elías Armenta Valdez y Dinorah Perea Valdez, among all the team of collaborators of the company who participated actively throughout this process.

We appreciate their efforts to achieve the Eleven Rivers Growers certification, for recognize the importance of work with a management system; contributing with the evolution of the agricultural sector and for the commitment of Sinaloa growers to offer fresh, health, safe and sustainable products.
