Sinaloa in the first place in educational inclusion for children of migrant farm workers

From November 28 to December 2 will be held in Sinaloa the First Regional Meeting of Migrant Educators, where teachers from the states of Baja California, Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Sonora and Sinaloa will participate in order to review the programs and Plans of study highlighting the advantages and proposing improvements for the deficiencies and adapting the educational schemes so that they are better according to the characteristics and educational conditions of the children of Migrant Farm Workers.

Juan Pantaleon Morales, State Coordinator of the Migrant Children Program, explained that Sinaloa is located in the first place of inclusion to migrants where it serves 32 thousand minors.

The families that reach Sinaloa are from 26 states, where 60% of the population is located in the agricultural fields.

He explained that there are programs designed to serve children from 3 months to 16 years of age. This year a budget of 32 million pesos of the federal resource is being exercised.
