The “Grace C. Cardenas ” Reading and multipurpose room opens at “El Porvenir” field

 

The inauguration of the Reading and Multipurpose Room “Grace C. Cardenas”  took place with an event held at the facilities of “El Porvenir” field on December 12, which was attended by those involved in the project.

Mr. Daniel Cadenas Izabal Tricar founder of the Agricola was accompanied with his wife Gracia Cevallos Cardenas, his daughter Gabriela Cardenas and Carlos Sandoval from Axtel Foundation, who participated as donors mainly of the books to equip the new Reading Room .

Gabriela Cardenas told a few of the project story and mentioned that the concern born of daily reading programs performed by children in the agricultural and part of “El Porvenir” Community Program.

At the ribbon cutting and throughout  the event, the children with the best grades of the field were present, and will have priority access to all the services of the new room to further promote their discipline to study.

The space will serve students from primary, middle and high school. They would make inquiries, use technology  to make Internet search and homework, as well as reading for pleasure. In addition to use for virtual job training for employees.
The room has a collection of 600 books, classified by subject , computers with internet and four spaces: desks, agora for storytelling, informal reading space and computer room .

Eleven Rivers wants to congratulate the ” Daniel and Grace C. de Cardenas ” for the development of initiatives that contribute to the welfare of the families of agricultural laborers Foundation, since they are one of the most valuable resources of horticulture Mexico.
