PROFEPA acknowledges Eleven Rivers for the Environmental Leadership Program for Competitiveness

 

After 3 months of  the Environmental Leadership Program for Competitiveness, the national closure was held in Mexico City. In this program, Eleven Rivers participated as leader and led the participation of 22 other agricultural enterprises of Sinaloa in training programs, promoted by the environmental authority.

It was an event organized by the Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection (PROFEPA), in partnership with the Secretariat of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT) and the Technological University Fidel Velazquez, attended by representatives of each leader enterprises  into the program from different states of our country, and where the projects selected as the best in each participating company were exposed.

The aim of the event was to present the results and benefits of the projects designed in the program and recognize the leaders and participants.

The reception was held in the Auditorium of the  Soumaya museum in Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra 303, Granada, Miguel Hidalgo, on December 11, 2015.

This project aims to carry out the incorporation of a large number of businesses nationwide and contribute to annual savings of water, electricity and carbon dioxide.

It is very satisfying to Eleven Rivers, participate in these programs and encourage this type of projects that contribute to reducing the impact that industry has on the environment.

A fundamental part of the Eleven Rivers Certification Scheme is the Social Responsibility System, which includes the proper use of natural resources, the proper management of waste generated by agriculture, reducing water and energy consumption as well as reducing  the emission of polluting gases into the environment.
