Packaging, Storage and Transport System

04.1 Eje III. Sistma de Calidad de Servicios

During the Packaging of fruit and vegetable production for fresh consumption, a series of processes come together, in which value is added to reach the final market under quality criteria. It is the purpose of the Eleven Rivers® Certification scheme standard (11RCS) to integrate the food safety factor to these processes. The 11RCS Standard describes in its AXIS III the criteria for participating growers to comply with.

For companies hiring the Packaging or production services, and those who sell under their responsibility, they must have detailed documentation of the service provided. The suppliers of these products and services must meet the requirements of the Eleven Rivers® Certification Scheme.

In this axis will be explained the appendix of Packaging Operating Processes that consist of the following: facilities, obtainment, use, management and quality of the water, control of urban pests, domestic and wild animals, hygiene, chemical substances, final product consistency and transport.
