Eleven Rivers present the Evolution of Market Requirements in the 1st Symposium on Food Safety

On March 12, the 1st Edition of the Food Safety Symposium was held at the facilities of the Technological Institute of Culiacán, in this event Mr. José Raymundo Elizalde Gastelo – Director of Eleven Rivers Growers shared the presentation “Evolution of the requirements of the Fruit and Vegetable Market, as well as in the debate “Current Events and Problems of Food and its Impact on the Constant Updating of the Safety Management Systems” in conjunction with Eng. Josue Figueroa of FSQ Impulsores and Eng. Alejandro Cárdenas Ballesteros the objective of this event was to share with the students and members of the fresh produce industry the new trends of food marketing.

In this symposium, students and professors from the career of Biochemical Engineering of the Technological Institute of Culiacan, Technological Institute of Sinaloa de Leyva and Higher Technological Institute of Guasave participated.

Ilianne Annel Mendoza López, president of the Academy of Biochemical Engineering and coordinator of the Symposium, welcomed the participating students, she mentioning that “the quality and safety of the food we consume is the responsibility of all the people who participate in any way in the processing of these. The industry currently requires trained people”, so this symposium is carried out maintaining the commitment that students have with regard to educational quality.

Noriega Urqudez added that “the National Technological Institute of Mexico has a Center for Research, Innovation and Technological Development focused on the agroindustrial sector which will soon be functioning for society in general”, this will bring benefits to the state and the region, since Sinaloa It is a very important agroindustrial sector.
