Meeting of work between Eleven Rivers and Mexico Calidad Suprema

In its short-term objectives, the Eleven Rivers administration envisages actions to seek synergy with governmental institutions and private agencies of national and foreign nature, oriented to the implementation of standards and preventive systems in the quality and safety of food.

Based on this objective, last Wednesday, April 23, 2014, in the City of Culiacan, Sinaloa, a working meeting was held between Eleven Rivers and Mexico Calidad Suprema, attended by Eleven Rivers: Mr. Raymundo Elizalde, Director; LCA. Mario E. Cuevas Lara, Operational Coordinator and Lic. Vanessa de la Rocha Zazueta Administrative Coordinator. For Mexico Supreme Quality was attended by Lic. Lizeth Quintero Posada, Director General of Mexico Supreme Quality; Maria de Lourdes González, Deputy Director of Safety Schemes and Marisol Franco, Supervision of Food Safety, and Implementation of Projects in Mexico Calidad Suprema, A.C.

Within the framework of the meeting, the history, development and challenges faced by both Civil Associations were presented, with Eleven Rivers recognizing Mexico’s position as Calidad Suprema, as well as the challenges faced by Mexican producers in the quality issue and food safety.

The meeting consolidated the beginning of a relationship that will join efforts to initiate a cooperative relationship between the two parties in ​​actions that include:

  • Signing a collaboration agreement between Eleven Rivers and Mexico Calidad Suprema.
  • Develop a Work Plan that includes actions to encourage the formation of human capital immersed in activities of Training and Technical Assistance of the Eleven Rivers Regulatory Scheme.
  • To carry out technical visits to the companies adhering to the Eleven Rivers Program, in order that Mexico Calidad Suprema knows the technical operation that executes through Independent Organizations.
  • Federal Support through Mexico Supreme Quality for Training, Certification and Weekly Verification to Eleven Rivers associates.
  • Economic support at the cost of Certification for Eleven Rivers associates.

Mexico Calidad Suprema is a non-profit organization, made up of the main associations of agri-food producers in the country, supporting the Federal Government through actions that promote the certification of agri-food products by promoting the brand of Calidad Suprema.
