Mexico Food Show 2016

From the 8th to the 11th of December the larger party of the agri-food sector took place with the México Food Show 2016. This event is the most important meeting point in Mexico and Latin America for producers, buyers, technology developers, investors, entrepreneurs, university students and the general public to know about the development opportunities offered by the Mexican ground. The event was attended by 32 countries, of which 152 national and international buyers participated.

During the event, around 56 thousand participants attendee in three days, interacting with 600 producers in nine pavilions dedicated to Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Aquaculture, Rural Development, Export Products, Spirits Beverages, Supplies and Services, Organic Products and Federative Entities.

The event was inaugurated by the President, Enrique Peña Nieto and he assured during his opening speech that Mexico is the twelfth food producer in the world. He also added that the Mexico Government, through technical support, mechanization, with greater credit to the agricultural activity, works so that before the end of this Administration Mexico reaches the eleventh place.
