Seminar: “Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA)”

 

Last November 28th was held the Seminar: “Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA)”. This event, was organized by Lighthouse Food Safety and Quality and took place in the Auditorium Dr. Ernesto Camacho Sánchez at the Faculty of Chemical and Biological Sciences, Postgraduate on Food Science and Technology, Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa.

During this Seminar, they talked about FSMA standards for exporting food to the United States and its new requirements. Also, they reminded the audience about the importance of preventing rejection of entry into the United States. Therefore, it is necessary to know and to practice the rules by implementing preventive controls: HARPC, Produce Safety Rule (PSR), Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP).
