Eleven Rivers launches its 2.3 Certification Scheme version

During the month of October Eleven Rivers launches version 2.3 of its Certification Scheme, for implementation in the present agricultural season.

This new version meets the requirements of international laws, mainly Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) of the United States, the main destination of production of fresh vegetables from Sinaloa.

Changes were made in order to define in a more appropriate way the scope and shorten the evidence and / or support for each of the criteria; this in order to standardize their understanding and application during the implementation of the Scheme in agricultural operations.

This new version does not affect existing certifications nor does it change the meaning of the Training Program that has been done with version 2.2.1 since the new version does not include additional critical criteria which already contained the previous version, nor does it change any radical way of the established criteria.

With this update, Eleven Rivers seeks to adapt to the changes in the field of safety regulation and social responsibility, that is being established internationally, adapting to new market needs and produce more sustainably.

This new version has been reviewed by the technical staff of third-participation organizations, Eleven Rivers technical advisers and agricultural technicians participating in the program, who enrich it with their proposals and adjustments to the criteria that compose it.
