LANIIA laboratory accredited by ema, updates its catalog of services

LANIIA is an interdisciplinary space for research, development and innovation on food and water safety, with the aim of providing tools and solutions to the academic-scientific, social and productive sectors of the country. LANIIA was established in 2014.

The LANIIA has facilities at its headquarters in the Food and Development Research Center, CI (CIAD) Culiacán coordination, and six subsedes, in the CIAD Hermosillo and Mazatlan coordinations, as well as in the Technological University of Culiacán, in the Park of Technological Innovation (PIT) of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa, the Center for Research and Technology Transfer AC (CENIT2) of the Autonomous University of Nayarit and the Technological Institute of Sonora (ITSON).

Lania’s substantive activities are basic and applied research, the training of human resources and the linkage in the areas of Environmental Microbiology and Food, Pesticide Residues, Molecular Microbiology and Cell Culture, focused on the strengthening of Food Safety.

LANIIA offers analytical services to the productive sector of the country, which is strategically linked with Public Research Centers, Universities, National and International Technological Institutes to develop, standardize, validate and implement cutting-edge methodologies on Food Safety issues.
